Review: Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0

What can I say, it does what it says

Been using this product for about 2 weeks now and CLEAR changes can be seen. Personally, I have huge pores and this is the main concern that I have.

Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 packaging

Quoted from the Medicube website,

"to exfoliate dead skin cells, regulate sebum, and tighten pores"

This product has helped me shrink my pores and I am SO grateful. The results could already be seen 2 days after day and night skincare routines. My skin looks brighter and more radiant after using the Zero Pore Pad. The product also absorbs quickly into your skin so you can move on to your next skincare step quickly!

The size of the pad is slightly smaller than the circumference of a cup. Packaging is also small and convenient, however a little heavy. Each container contains 70 pads and if you use them twice a day, it'll probably last you around a month. Considering the price I feel it is worth it as it did make my pores shrink and wasn't unreasonably expensive (bought it at $54 for 2 on Shopee)

These are the main ingredients as stated on their website

Main Ingredients:

Cypress Tree Leaf, Purslane, Baikal Skullcap: Their natural anti-inflammatory properties decrease swelling of overactive sebum glands that cause skin to be oily and blemish-prone

Oregano Leaf, Chinese Cinnamon: Their natural antiseptic and antibacterial properties help to treat acne

White Willow Bark: Contains salicylic acid which helps to unclog pores

Lactobacillus (Fermented soybean extract)
: A natural antimicrobial and probiotic, forms a protective shield that prevents harmful bacteria from reaching the skin

Grape, Key Lime, Lemon, Apple, Orange: These fruit extracts naturally slough off dead skin cells, rough patches, and debris, leaving skin smooth and resurfaced. With impurities cleared away, skin is primed and ready to fully absorb the pad's pore tightening ingredients

Evening Primrose Flower
: Contains several essential fatty acids that cleanse, soothe and nourish skin for a soft glow

Kudzu Root: Purifies and detoxes skin

Longleaf Pine, Japanese Elm: As antioxidants, they encourage healing and regeneration. The result is refined pores and a radiant, clear complexion

However, it may cause a bit of an irritation at the start but after a few days the irritation is less obvious. (Even though the website says its irritation-free, maybe its just me...) Also I feel that each individual pad itself does not contain as much product compared to other brands.

How to use:

1. Cleanse your face

2. Swipe embossed side across face from center outwards

3. Flip to the silky side and do the same

4. Pat skin to help absorption

Embossed side:

  1. Exfoliate dead skin
  2. Erase excess oil
  3. Remove impurities

Silky side:

  1. Moisturize skin
  2. Manage skin texture
  3. Smooth skin for soft glow

What I like about the product:
  1. Pore tightening
  2. Exfoliate skin
  3. Brighter skin
  4. Pad just the right size to go around corners of your face

What I don't like about the product:
  1. Too little product on pad
  2. A little irritation on skin

Overall, I would rate this a 9/10, mainly because there was not as much product as I would like to have on each pad. Especially when reaching the middle of the stack.

Would I buy it again? Definitely yes.
