My Favourite Pore Clay Mask


Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask_2x on Japanese magazine

I have been using the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask_2x for more than 5 years now and have like 2 more unopened ones stockpiled at home so I thought why not do a review of my favourite pore clay mask? 

I absolutely love this product. 💕 It was my holy grail back in the days when I had a face full of pimples. I have been using this product at least once a week since to cleanse my face to prevent any sebum clog up. Probability of pimple appearing on my face has also dropped significantly after using this product, so now it just serves as a preventive control for me! :)

Over the years, Innisfree has changed the packaging and the formulation. I believe it used to be more thicker and darker in the past (if I remember correctly). Right now its less viscous and has more of the cooling effect. 

I usually use the Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask_2x in the morning when I wake up with a swollen face to cool down my face and tighten my pores before I do my makeup. My face will also look brighter and feel tighter after using it so I definitely recommend using it in the morning! 

How to use:

  • After cleansing, apply onto dry face, avoiding the eye and lip area. 
  • After 10 minutes, gently massage with fingertips while rinsing off with lukewarm water.
  • Use 1-2 times a week.

  • Jeju Volcanic Clusters™: Finely ground hardened volcanic lava that helps absorb excess sebum. 🌋

Cons:

  • Does not really remove my blackheads 
  • Hair keeps flying into the mask and getting stuck :(

THATS ALL! Only 2 cons for this product! It does everything else it says. I would definitely continue to buy more of this product until I find a better replacement that is as gentle on the skin as this one is, and does all the wonders that it does.


Overall, I would give this a 9/10 as it does almost everything it says it does effectively.

-1 for not removing my blackheads
